Founded in 1999 by caricaturist David Cowles, "You'll Put Your Eye Out Productions" was created in a burst of creative energy and pent up frustration. The company has since changed it's directive from "Pay Back Time!" to the more accommodating "Enjoy the Show!"

In 2000, their first animated short "Superfunk & Freaky-Dee" won the Grand Jury Animation Prize for both the West and East coast versions of The New York Independent Film and Video Festival. Woo-Hoy!

David Cowles handles the directing, art directing, co-writing, vocal and all other dictatorial duties. Which does not make him an egomanical control-freak.

Clayton Cowles is co-writer and co-creator of "Superfunk & Freaky-Dee," and handles the vocal duties of both Superfunk and Creamy, as well as the Brooks Bros. in "Hollyworld." At least until his voice changes.

Alison Cowles is co-creator of "Superfunk & Freaky-Dee," as well as doing the wicked-cute voice of Freaky-Dee.

Laura Wilder is the voice of Superfunk and Freaky-Dee's mom.

Kellie Scott is the vocal contortionist behind Mariana Espezito, Sara Michelle Jessica Lee and Jennifer Chu for "Hollyworld," as well as The Cook-o-matic 3000 for "Superfunk & Freaky-Dee."

Rob Reed is the voice of Melvin Weiss in "Hollyworld," as well as it's Musical Director. Rob is also a founder of the ska band 5 Head, which provided the music for "Superfunk & Freaky-Dee" and "True-Life Childhood Tales."

Todd Campbell handles the voices of Bret and Bert in "Superfunk & Freaky-Dee."

John Colombo is the voice of Jack in "Superfunk & Freaky-Dee."

Brita lent her vocal talents singing backup on "Tiny Girl," in "Superfunk & Freaky-Dee."
